Job Overview
Jumla Africa is seeking an experienced Veterinary Officer (Medicines Inspection & Sales) to support veterinary medicine inspection, sales, advisory services, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will help ensure the quality, safety, and proper management of veterinary medicines while supporting livestock health improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of veterinary medicines to ensure quality, authenticity, and compliance with regulations.
- Manage the sale and distribution of veterinary medicines and related products.
- Inspect veterinary shops to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for veterinary medicines.
- Monitor product expiry dates and maintain quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with veterinary and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Provide advisory support to customers on veterinary products and services.
- Collaborate with suppliers and other stakeholders in the veterinary sector.
- Prepare relevant reports and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Veterinary Medicine.
- Experience in veterinary pharmaceuticals, medicine inspection, or regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good reporting and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to work with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders effectively.
