Job Description

The Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of company products, materials and other goods.

Key duties include:

Safely operating company trucks and heavy-duty vehicles.

Transporting products and materials to designated destinations.

Conducting daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.

Assisting with loading and offloading when required.

Following approved routes and making appropriate route adjustments when necessary.

Ensuring the safety and security of products during transportation.

Maintaining accurate records of trips, deliveries, vehicle movements and fuel usage.

Complying with road traffic laws and company safety regulations.

Performing other driving-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

Possess a valid Class E and Class D driving license.

Have at least 1 year of proven experience as a truck or heavy-duty vehicle driver.

Practical experience driving large vehicles such as trucks, Scania, MAN, HOWO, trailers or similar heavy-duty vehicles.

Experience in long-distance or commercial transportation is an added advantage.

Good knowledge of road safety rules and traffic regulations.

Ability to conduct basic vehicle inspections and identify common mechanical problems.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to different work locations.

Responsible, disciplined, reliable and safety-conscious.

Good physical condition.

High level of integrity and commitment to company property and responsibilities.
