ABOUT THE ROLE
Akiba Commercial Bank Plc is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Treasury Sales Dealer to join our Treasury team at Head Office.
ROLE PURPOSE
To provide treasury solutions to clients, particularly in Foreign Exchange, Hedging, and Investment, while supporting business growth, customer acquisition, and profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote and support sales of Treasury products, including Spot, Forward, and FX Options.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and understand their treasury needs.
- Execute FX transactions and provide timely support on foreign exchange-related matters.
- Work closely with branches, Relationship Managers, and other internal teams to grow FX business.
- Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and product performance.
- Conduct daily market analysis and support preparation of daily exchange rates.
- Monitor foreign currency positions and trading activities in line with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- University Degree or equivalent in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Less than one year of relevant experience in Treasury Sales, Interbank Money Market, FX Trading, or related areas.
- ACI Dealing Certificate or other relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
