About the opportunity
• Sandvik Mining & Construction Tanzania Limited is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled professional to join its growing team in Mwanza as an Electrical Specialist / Technical Trainer. • The successful candidate will perform maintenance and repair duties on electrical equipment, components, and other parts at Sandvik and customer site operations, while providing technical training and support. • The role is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical equipment, components, and parts of Sandvik specialized products while adhering to all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) protocols.
What you’ll need
- Trade-qualified professional or holder of a similar qualification in electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the mining industry.
- At least 1 year of experience maintaining Sandvik underground or crushing equipment.
- Strong understanding of Sandvik crushers, loaders, haulage trucks, drilling equipment, and machine operating principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of the Sandvik product range.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
