About the opportunity
• The Underwriting Manager will be responsible for developing and managing underwriting and reinsurance activities in accordance with the company’s underwriting and reinsurance policies and standards, with the objective of meeting and exceeding customer and shareholder expectations. • The role reports to the Chief Operations Officer.
What you’ll need
- Applicants should have:
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree. An MBA is an added advantage.
- A professional qualification in Insurance, such as ACII or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 7 years of experience in underwriting, including 3–4 years in a management position.
