About the opportunity
• Maintain a strong safety focus and ensure a safe workplace through daily inspections and rectification of hazards. • Comply with all company policies and procedures that are displayed and amended from time to time. • Take reasonable care for their own safety and that of other persons who may be affected by their acts. • Perform pre-start checks and SWICs. • Ensure inspections and maintenance are carried out on all equipment before use.
What you’ll need
- Underground mining experience in a hard rock mechanised mine would be beneficial.
- Must have exposure to Sandvik drill equipment, including Jumbo, Solo, and Q-Bex.
- Strong background working in underground mining.
- Ability to operate all types of hand tools.
- Understanding of maintenance procedures.
- Ability to read schematics.
