About the opportunity
• 1. Project Management • Lead end-to-end planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Birth Companionship project across supported regions. • Manage resources, including budgeting, expenditure tracking, and financial accountability. • Develop annual and quarterly workplans, progress reports, and performance reviews. • Coordinate regular progress review meetings and ensure implementation of agreed action points.
What you’ll need
- The position requires strong academic qualifications and demonstrated experience in maternal and newborn health programming and project management.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent clinical qualification is required.
- A Master’s degree in Public Health, Midwifery, Project Management, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Maternal and Newborn Health (MNH) programming.
- Hands-on experience in program coordination for projects implemented in more than one region.
- Practical experience in a managerial project capacity, including engagement with the Ministry of Health and PMO-RALG.
