About the opportunity

• The Lodge Manager will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management and smooth operation of the lodge, ensuring high standards of hospitality, guest satisfaction, staff performance, facility maintenance, and business performance. • Key Duties and Responsibilities • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lodge and ensure all activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. • Provide a welcoming lodge environment and maintain high standards of guest service and hospitality. • Manage, supervise, train, develop, motivate, and monitor lodge staff to ensure effective performance.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in lodge, hotel, or hospitality management, preferably within the tourism or safari industry.
• Strong leadership, people-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of lodge operations, guest service, budgeting, and business management.
• Ability to manage staff and operations independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to handle pressure, make sound decisions, and manage unforeseen operational challenges.
