About the opportunity

• The Sales and Marketing Officer will be responsible for driving sales, increasing bookings, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening the lodge’s presence in both domestic and international tourism markets. • Key Duties and Responsibilities • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase bookings and revenue. • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate clients, and other key partners. • Identify and develop new sales channels and business opportunities in domestic and international markets.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in hospitality or tourism sales is compulsory.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
  • Knowledge of safari lodges, tourism trends, and the luxury travel market is an added advantage.
  • Experience working in remote, upcountry, or out-of-town locations is required.
