Nurse

The Nurse will be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the health, safety, and wellbeing of students and staff.

The successful candidate will provide first aid, manage minor illnesses, maintain confidential health records, facilitate emergency referrals to local hospitals, and support front desk administrative activities when required.

Promote and safeguard the health, safety, and wellbeing of students and staff.

Administer first aid to students and staff when necessary.

Assess and manage minor illnesses in accordance with professional nursing standards.

Maintain accurate and confidential health records.

Facilitate emergency referrals to local hospitals when required.

Support front desk administration as needed.

Monitor student health concerns and provide appropriate assistance.

Maintain professional standards of nursing care and confidentiality.

Contribute to a safe and supportive school environment that promotes physical wellbeing.

A recognized Diploma in Nursing from a credible institution.

Valid professional registration and licensing with the relevant nursing authority in Tanzania.

At least three years of clinical experience, preferably in paediatrics, community health, or a school setting.

First aid and emergency response certification.

Fluency in English.

Strong clinical judgment and cultural sensitivity.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Good information and communication technology (ICT) skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to set a good moral example for students.

Commitment to promoting physical wellbeing and supporting the spiritual development of learners.

Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidential medical information.
