Manage servers, storage, infrastructure security and availability, and support the deployment and improvement of IT systems at Yas Tanzania.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, telecommunications or another technology-related field.
- 3+ years' experience with servers, storage hardware and related components.
- Working knowledge of SQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB and MariaDB is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Administration - Install, configure, maintain, and optimize servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and enterprise applications.
- Infrastructure Architecture & Capacity Planning - Design infrastructure solutions, define capacity requirements, and support deployment of new systems and environments.
- Security & Access Management - Enforce information security standards, manage system access, and protect infrastructure from unauthorized activities.
- Infrastructure Support & Incident Resolution - Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, coordinate resolution efforts, and ensure service availability within agreed SLAs.
- Documentation & Compliance Management - Maintain infrastructure documentation, asset inventories, operational procedures, and compliance with IT policies and controls.
- Data Center & Operational Excellence - Ensure data rooms and IT installations meet operational, cabling, and industry best-practice standards.
- Stakeholder Support & Continuous Improvement - Provide technical expertise, support business initiatives, and drive continuous improvement of infrastructure services.
