Assist with telecommunications equipment design, installation, maintenance, testing, user support, and related technical duties at TANESCO.
Duties
i. Assist in designing, overseeing the installation of telecom equipment and facilities, such as complex electronic switches, broadband data services, and satellite communications;
ii. Assist in preparation of physical layout plan for proper communication system site infrastructure, and support systems;
iii. Assist in maintenance of telecommunications equipment;
iv. Assist in testing and evaluating telecommunication hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, or compatibility with existing systems;
v. Assist in providing user support by diagnosing network and device problems and implementing technical or procedural solutions; and
vi. Perform any other related duties from time to time as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications
Holder of Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electronics and Telecommunications) or relevant qualification from a recognized Institution. Must be registered as Graduate Engineer with ERB.
Salary: TSS. 5
